Joliet School District 86 Holiday Donations
Thanksgiving 2025 Holiday Meals - 24 schools participated:
Meals were provided for 115 families, consisting of 236 adults and 404 children. $12,340
Christmas 2025 Holiday Meals - 24 schools participated:
Meals were provided for 115 families consisting of 213 adults and 418 children. Christmas gifts were provided for 360 children: $26,740
Total District 86 Holiday Donations: $39,980



Sharing Terri's Sparke Event
The Visitation and Aid Society joined forces with the Zonta Club of Joliet to collect gently used costume jewelry and provided the opportunity for over 450, District 86, grade school students to select two pieces of jewelry to gift to their Moms, Grandmas, Aunts and any other caregivers for
Mother’s Day.
Any remaining jewelry was donated to the Encore Shop at Silver Cross Hospital
and Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County.

each group received a $2,500 donation.
Each year the Visitation and Aid Society of Joliet distributes thousands of dollars of aid to
individuals of the community that need assistance. In all cases, it is the policy of the Visitation
and Aid Society to keep the specifics of these donations confidential.
